Our Winter Holiday Week in Lapland is a package that includes accommodation in one of our private chalets in the middle of the forest, as well as seven unmissable winter outdoor activities led by a professional and private guide. Additionally, it also includes airport transfers from Kittilä, plus a grocery shopping session in a local supermarket. You may also add extra activities and services to the package if you wish.
Furthermore, you will spend your holiday in a peaceful area next to the Pallas-Yllästunturi National park, famous for its clean air and beautiful landscapes. Indeed, the wilderness is right at your doorstep! You can access cross-country skiing tracks from right outside the cabin or alternatively enjoy private outdoor hot tub & sauna at your chalet.
CAREFULLY CRAFTED ACTIVITY PROGRAM
During your stay, you will enjoy our carefully crafted activity program, which brings together winter outdoor activities, getting to know arctic animals, and discovering local culture and cuisine. Morover, all this is guided by a personal guide, who will make sure that the experiences are adapted to your needs.
In addition, we have included free days in your programme for a more balanced holiday, but if you prefer we can organise extra activities for you during that time – this is your holiday!

Located on both sides of the Yllästunturi fell, the villages of Ylläsjärvi and Äkäslompolo offer a good basecamp for nature experiences all year round. During winter, the ski slopes and snowy landscapes are a paradise for travelers in search of thrilling adventures like snowshoe treks, snowmobile safaris, skiing and more. Meanwhile, in summer and autumn, hikers and paddle-lovers can explore the beautiful quiet landscapes of the national park at their own pace.
A PEACEFUL AND ACCESSIBLE LAPLAND DESTINATION
Overall, Ylläs is a destination recommended to those who want to experience Lapland independently or away from the crowd of Rovaniemi. Morerover, the closest airport, in Kittilä, is just 30 min away from Ylläsjärvi, which also makes it quite an accessible destination from Helsinki. Although many hotels and cottages accommodate travelers, it is recommended to book in advance during winter.
