GUIDED TOUR WITH FIRE MAKING EXPERIENCE
Step into the wild and discover the beautiful wilderness of Lapland with this complete educational tour. The hike is adapted to the level of the group with different difficulty options, and to the highlights of the season. Even without snow, Lapland is worth discovering!
HIKING OPTIONS
We offer two types of guided hikes, both designed to help you explore the untamed beauty of Lapland while learning essential outdoor skills and connecting with nature:
HALF-DAY TOUR
Duration: 3,5 – 4 hours
A gentle and accessible hike through a beautiful natural area in the Rovaniemi region. Covering a distance of around 4 to 5 kilometers, this tour leads you through peaceful boreal forests to a scenic viewpoint overlooking the surrounding wilderness. It’s ideal for families, beginners, or anyone seeking a lighter but rewarding outdoor experience.
ALL DAY TOUR
Duration: 7 – 8 hours
A more extensive hiking adventure adapted to your interests and physical level. You can choose between a longer route (10–15 km) in the Rovaniemi area for a full immersion into Arctic forests and fells, or a moderate hike (5–8 km) in another part of Lapland to explore unique natural features: such as deep canyons or the rounded summits of Lappish fells (our “local mountains”).
OTHER RECOMMENDED SUMMER & AUTUMN HIKES
We organise this experience from spring to autumn, giving you the opportunity to discover the beauty of Arctic nature even without snow. During these months, other great hiking options include:

If you’re visiting in winter and wish to experience Lapland’s white landscapes, we recommend the following hiking alternatives to fully experience the magical snowy landscapes of Lapland at their best:
– Hike in Korouoma Canyon to see the frozen waterfalls;
– A snowshoe hike or a ski trek adventure to get off the beaten tracks!

PLEASE NOTE
We recommend to book in advance, as availability may be limited in peak seasons.
A minimum of 2 paying adult participants is required for the trip to operate. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if the group is too small or because of bad weather conditions.
If you are a solo traveler, you are very welcome to join any departing trip at the standard price or we may organise the trip just for you at some extra costs (please contact us).
Child prices apply only to children under 12 years old. Children must be accompanied by one adult. The child rate only apply if the conditions of two paying adult participant is met. This excursion is not recommended for children under 6 years of age. If you wish to join with a child younger than 6, please contact us in advance, as participation is subject to prior approval. For children weighing up to 20 kg, we can provide a hiking backpack carrier.
Please dress appropriately according to the weather, with good hiking shoes, hats/sunglasses or rain/warm clothing.
A certain amount of walking is involved. This tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers, for people with heart conditions or with limited mobility.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 7 days or more before departure;
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled between 7 days and 24h before departure.
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 24h or less before departure.
