DESCRIPTION
We will take you 30 minutes from Rovaniemi to a family stable located on the banks of the Kemijoki river.
The ride takes place in a forest, along the path taken by reindeers and other animals. Rides in Lapland are so calm and peaceful that you might have the chance to observe wildlife.
The speed is always determined by the skills of the least experienced participant.
You can choose one hour horseback ride (for beginners and confirmed riders) and two hours horseback ride (only for confirmed riders : comfortable in all 3 gaits).
MIDNIGHT SUN :
In June and July, you may choose to go for a ride in the evening to enjoy the long sunsets.
Horseback ride under the midnight sun is the same as the one hour ride but it is operated in private. During this trip you can enjoy beautiful colors on condition of having a clear sky. Even is the sky is cloudy you will delight a palet of shinny colors!

PLEASE NOTE
We recommend to book in advance, as availability may be limited in peak seasons. This excursion is organized by our specialized partner guide.
A minimum of 2 paying adult participants is required for the trip to operate. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if the group is too small or because of bad weather conditions.
The entire duration of this excursion is 2h30 or 3h30, depending of what ride you choose.
Child must be accompanied by an adult. Child rates is the same as adult rates. For 1h ride, they are allowed from 5 years old et for 2h ride from 13 years old.
Please, dress appropriately according to the weather conditions with long clothes and closes shoes.
This excursion is not recommended for pregnant travelers, and people with back problems. We don’t recommrnd either for child under 4 years old.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 25% if booking is cancelled 18 days or more before departure;
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 17 days or less before departure.
