RIDE YOUR FATBIKE WITH NO LIMITS!
Thanks to their extra wide tires, fatbikes give you the freedom to ride on all kinds of terrain: city roads, rocky paths, forest, sand, and even snow covered tracks! As a result, they offer one of the best ways to explore Lapland during the summer and autumn seasons.
Fatbikes are very easy to ride even for beginners. Electric fatbikes allow you to ride with limited efforts, with the help of a powerful engine and long-lasting battery. Standard fatbikes are designed for those who prefer a pure sporty experience!
GUIDED TOUR WITH ELECTRIC FATBIKES
During this three hours adventure, your guide will lead you from Rovaniemi city centre on a scenic itinerary. The tour is always adapted, based on your fitness level and interests, ensuring an experience that suits your pace and preferences.
First, you’ll get comfortable with your fatbike on easy cycling paths. Then, you’ll head deeper into the wilderness: exploring peaceful forest trails or reaching hilltop viewpoints. If you prefer a more cultural experience, your guide can also take you on an alternative route that visits Santa Claus Village and other highlights of the city. In every case, your group can discuss the most enjoyable route together before the ride begins.
In addition, your guide will take a break at a scenic spot to prepare snacks and warm drinks. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the views and learn more about the local culture and unique aspects of Lapland.
MIDNIGHT SUN SPECIAL: Between 20 May and 31 July, we offer an evening option that allows you to enjoy the beautiful colours of the Midnight Sun. Cycling under a never-ending sunset is a great way to enjoy this special Arctic phenomenon in Summer.

The fatbikes and e-fatbikes come with safety helmets, basic repair tools, a bicycle pump, and bike locks!

YOU PREFER TO RIDE WITHOUT A GUIDE?
No problem! You may rent the electric fatbikes from us, reserve them in our online rental shop (link here) and collect them in our office in city centre. The bikes and equipment will be prepared and ready for you. Our team will also provide you with explanation how to safely use the bikes and the different itineraries you may take (you may also check our blogpost here). For families who would like to cycle around Rovaniemi, or to Santa Claus Village (8km from the city), we also rent a cart for young children (less than 22kg) that can easily adapt to the back wheel of the e-fatbike.

PLEASE NOTE
Bikes are adapted to each participant’s height. Please make sure to select the correct category based on your height. The indicated age or age category is provided for guidance only.
For children who are around 120 cm tall, choose the bike option if they are able to ride independently for about 10 km. Otherwise, or if you are unsure, choose the passenger option: the child will then ride in a bike trailer behind an adult or on a small bike towed by an adult electric bike.
For adults under 160 cm tall, a smaller bike may be provided. However, please still select the Adult option and inform us of your height separately.
The experience is always in very small groups limited to 8 persons. We recommend to book in advance, as availability may be limited in peak seasons.
A minimum of 2 paying adult participants is required as a basic fee for the guided tour to operate.
For rental option, no minimum is required.If you are a solo traveler, you may join the tour by paying the basic fee (price of 2 adults) but if you are confident to bike on your own, we recommend renting the bike as it is a more economic option.
Please dress appropriately according to the weather. In summer, it is recommended to bring sun glasses and sunscreen. In autumn, please dress with warm clothing, beanies and gloves. We also recommend to take extra snacks and water if you feel the need to.
Departure is always from our office in city centre (Jaakonkatu 4-6, 96200 Rovaniemi). Hotel pick ups outside the city centre can be arranged at extra costs (please request it in advance).
CANCELLATION POLICY
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 7 days or more before departure;
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled between 7 days and 24h before departure.
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 24h or less before departure.
