Canoe Adventure with Overnight Camping (2 Days, 1 Night)

A FULL EXPERIENCE IN LAPLAND !

Let’s explore remote Lapland landscapes with this 2-day canoe  adventure! Canoeing is a must-do experience in summer if you are willing to escape from your reality! Lapland is also the perfect region for this kind of adventures, as the area offers a large network of peaceful waters and untroubled rivers.

In the morning, you will start the trip with your guide to a selected destination for a big adventure. The first part of the trip will be focused on safety aspects ; your guide will teach you how to steer a canoe, the paddling techniques and other aspects as well as how to react in case of capsizing. Once ready, it will be time to go ashore! You will follow your guide on one of the many rivers or lakes of Lapland in order to explore some beautiful nature spots. The itinerary for the first day is usually around 10 to 15 km, and allows you to get to more remote areas that can only be accessed from the water. You may even observe wild animals, such as little mammals or water birds as you paddle down the stream.

In the late afternoon, you will look for a good place to pitch your personal tents and set the camp for the night. This will also be a great opportunity to have a typical dinner around the fire together with your guide.
The following day, you will continue your relaxing journey down the river until you reach the selected ending point of the trip.

This unique canoe trip is organized in very small groups for more comfort. The trip is easily adapted to the level of the group, but still requires a minimum of physical condition from the participants. The tour lasts 2 days including transportation, instructions, paddling time and night in the wilderness. In total, the trip is about 20 to 30 km in total, depending on the level of the group.
