Explore the untouched beauty of Lapland with a multi-day canoeing or touring kayak adventure, lasting between 2 to 7 days, designed for nature lovers seeking both tranquility and challenge. Starting from Rovaniemi or anywhere within the Arctic Circle region, each trip is fully customized to match your preferences, experience level, and desired comfort.
Led by a certified canoe instructor, this tour is suitable for easy to intermediate levels—there are no dangerous rapids or technical whitewater sections. Routes are carefully selected based on your group’s abilities and interests, ensuring a safe but physically active experience. A good level of fitness is required, as you’ll be paddling several hours per day through pristine lakes, winding rivers, and peaceful forest landscapes.
You can choose to paddle in a two-person canoe or a solo touring kayak, depending on your preference and experience. Both options offer a unique way to connect with Lapland’s serene waterways.
Accommodation is mostly wilderness camping, offering a true connection with Arctic nature, but we can also include riverside cabins or cozy local hotels for added comfort along the way. We provide all necessary canoeing, kayaking, and camping equipment, including tents, dry bags, safety gear, and cooking supplies. Transfers to and from the starting point are included.
To enrich your Arctic adventure, the trip can be combined with scenic hikes, wildlife observation, or visits to local attractions, such as an authentic reindeer farm. Whether you seek solitude, cultural encounters, or an active journey through wild landscapes, this tailor-made expedition offers an unforgettable experience in the heart of Lapland.

We recommend to book in advance, as availability may be limited in peak seasons.
Our specialized tours are always organized on a customized basis and in private, in order to provide the best services adapted to the wishes of our guests. This kind of tour is most adapted to group of 1 – 6 travellers. If you are a larger group, we may need to adapt the programs.
The tour is not adapted to children under 8 years old (recommended age is 12 years old). Children must be accompanied by one adult.
Please dress appropriately according to the weather, with outdoor clothes adapted to the season and watersport experiences.
We may arrange a multi-day program, with an itinerary acrosse the Arctic regions, and other activities along the way! Please fill the contact form with as many details and request as you wish!
Long-distance driving and a good physical level are usually involved. This tour is not recommended for travelers with very limited mobility.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 20% if booking is cancelled 61 days or more before departure;
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 60 days or less before departure.

PAYMENT
Payments by bank transfer and credit card are accepted.
An immediate 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking. Payment of the remaining 70% is required at least one month before departure.
