Tours depart primarily from Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland, but we can also arrange departures from other locations across the Arctic Circle, including remote villages or accommodations.
Led by Pierre, a passionate and experienced local guide, these tours are perfect for both amateur and seasoned bird watchers. He knows the best locations to spot unique Arctic bird species in their natural habitats. Depending on the season, you might see: Siberian Jay, Willow Ptarmigan, Rough-legged Buzzard or Golden Eagle.

We recommend to book in advance, as availability may be limited in peak seasons.
Our specialized tours are always organized on a customized basis and in private, in order to provide the best services adapted to the wishes of our guests. This kind of tour is most adapted to group of 1 – 6 travellers. If you are a larger group, we may need to adapt the programs.
The tour is not adapted to children under 8 years old (recommended age is 12 years old). Children must be accompanied by one adult.
Please dress appropriately according to the weather, with outdoor clothes adapted to the season and bird-watching experiences.
We may arrange a multi-day program, with an itinerary acrosse the Arctic regions, and other activities along the way! Please fill the contact form with as many details and request as you wish!
Long-distance driving and a certain amount of walking are usually involved. This tour is not recommended for travelers with very limited mobility.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 20% if booking is cancelled 61 days or more before departure;
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 60 days or less before departure.

PAYMENT
Payments by bank transfer and credit card are accepted.
An immediate 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking. Payment of the remaining 70% is required at least one month before departure.
