Discover two iconic Lapland traditions in one private Arctic SnowHotel and wilderness sauna experience from Rovaniemi. Explore a world built from snow and ice before relaxing in a traditional wood-heated log sauna beside a peaceful frozen lake.
Begin with a guided visit to the Arctic SnowHotel, where individually designed rooms, ice sculptures, the Ice Chapel, Ice Bar, and Ice Restaurant are rebuilt with a new theme each winter. After the visit, continue to a separate wilderness cabin, where your guide prepares the sauna and explains how to enjoy this important part of Finnish culture and everyday life.
In Finland, the sauna has traditionally served as both a place to relax and the washing area of a wilderness cabin. Finns commonly enjoy the sauna without swimwear, although you are welcome to bring and wear your own swimsuit. After enjoying the steam, you can cool down outside in the fresh air or snow, try optional ice swimming when conditions are safe, and wash with clean hot water in the traditional way. The experience ends with hot drinks and snacks in the peaceful lakeside surroundings.

Can I be picked up from my accommodation
Pickup is included in the tour price from the standard pickup locations listed below.
When booking, you can choose pickup or meet at the designated meeting point.
To reduce the environmental impact of unnecessary short-distance vehicle transfers, guests staying less than 750 m from the Nordic Odyssey office are required to meet directly at the office. Pickup is therefore not provided within this area.
Pickup is included within 8 km of Rovaniemi centre.
Pickup outside the standard area may be possible for an additional charge. A location on the route to the activity may sometimes be included at no extra cost.
If your accommodation is not listed, select the custom accommodation option during booking and enter the address. The pickup request is subject to confirmation.
