GUIDED VISIT OF THE SNOW HOTEL
If you want to experience something unique and unusual during your stay in Lapland, you should definitely add a visit to the Snow Hotel to your itinery.
Located just 30km away from Rovaniemi centre, this incredible structure is entirely build of snow and ice. In fact, it is one of the largest snow constructions in the Nordic countries! Inside you will discover a variery of spaces: themed hotel rooms (yes, you may stay overnight!), an ice chapel, an ice bar or a magical ice restaurant. Each room is designed in a unique thematic and adorned with beautiful ice sculptures.
ENJOY A GUIDED TOUR
Your experience begins in Rovaniemi, where our guide will meet you and drive you to the Snow Hotel. Along the way, you will learn about the structure, unique Finnish culture, and the traditions behind life in the Arctic.
Once there, your guide will lead you through the different parts of the hotel, sharing fascinating stories and answering all your questions. Morover, this experience suits everyone - a solo traveler, a couple, or a family with children.
During your visit, the ice bar is open giving you a chance to order a drink (optional, not included in price). And yes, it can be served in a glass made of ice, a detail that adds to the charm!

Complete your experience with a dinner:
In addition, you can upgrade your experiencewith a 3-course dinner served in the spectacular Ice Restaurant. However, please keep in mind that the dinner must be booked in advance and cannot be ordered on the spot. If you’re interested, you can simply send us an email at the time of your booking, and we’ll be happy to arrange it for you.

- The tour requires a minimum of two paying adults to operate. We reserve the right to cancel if the minimum group size is not reached or if weather conditions are unsafe.
- Solo travellers are welcome to join any confirmed departure at the standard price or book a private departure for an additional fee.

Can I be picked up from my accommodation
Pickup is included in the tour price from the standard pickup locations listed below.
When booking, you can choose pickup or meet at the designated meeting point.
To reduce the environmental impact of unnecessary short-distance vehicle transfers, guests staying less than 750 m from the Nordic Odyssey office are required to meet directly at the office. Pickup is therefore not provided within this area.
Pickup is included within 8 km of Rovaniemi centre.
Pickup outside the standard area may be possible for an additional charge. A location on the route to the activity may sometimes be included at no extra cost.
If your accommodation is not listed, select the custom accommodation option during booking and enter the address. The pickup request is subject to confirmation.
