Responsible choice
Experience a traditional Finnish wilderness sauna in a private lakeside setting near Rovaniemi. Surrounded by Lapland’s peaceful forest, the wood-heated log sauna and adjoining cabin are reserved exclusively for your group, making it ideal for couples, families and small groups.
Your guide prepares the sauna and introduces the Finnish custom of löyly, the warm steam created by pouring water over heated stones. Move between the sauna and fresh outdoor air at your own pace, or cool down with a refreshing swim in the lake. Clean hot water is provided for washing in the traditional Finnish way.
After the sauna, unwind inside the cabin with hot drinks and a sweet snack. This private experience offers a personal introduction to Finnish sauna culture, combining warmth, lakeside relaxation and quiet moments in Lapland’s summer or autumn nature.

Can I be picked up from my accommodation
Pickup is included in the tour price from the standard pickup locations listed below.
When booking, you can choose pickup or meet at the designated meeting point.
To reduce the environmental impact of unnecessary short-distance vehicle transfers, guests staying less than 750 m from the Nordic Odyssey office are required to meet directly at the office. Pickup is therefore not provided within this area.
Pickup is included within 8 km of Rovaniemi centre.
Pickup outside the standard area may be possible for an additional charge. A location on the route to the activity may sometimes be included at no extra cost.
If your accommodation is not listed, select the custom accommodation option during booking and enter the address. The pickup request is subject to confirmation.
