This is an educational arctic adventure aboard a real industrial icebreaker. A live English-speaking guide and audio guide in 16 languages take you through the Captain's bridge, the engine room, and the science of icebreaking. The Polar Explorer has worked the frozen sea for decades, and now opens its decks to explorers.

The Polar Explorer Icebreaker Cruise's departure terminal is located in Swedish Lapland, only 40 km from the Finnish border. From Finland to Sweden the border crossing goes without any stops or checks. Bring a valid passport or national ID.
The activity provider shall not be held liable for any compensation for loss of gratification in case of cancellation for safety reasons due to unforeseeable adverse weather conditions.
Minimum participant height: 125 cm. Booking confirmation: instant. Cancellation: 24 hours notice required.
