DESCRIPTION
SNOWMOBILE AND ICE FISHING ADVENTURE – SMALL GROUP TOUR
Combine two of Lapland’s most iconic winter experiences in one unforgettable tour ! On this guided tour, you’ll ride through the Arctic wilderness by snowmobile and stop along the way to try your hand at traditional ice fishing.
After gearing up and receiving a full safety briefing, you’ll set off into the snowy forests surrounding Rovaniemi. Along the route, we’ll pause at a frozen lake or river, where you’ll learn how to drill your own hole and set up a fishing line. Your guide will give you an introduction to ice fishing. While you wait for a bite, enjoy a warm drink to warm you up.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE EXPERIENCE :

– Ice fishing : 30 minutes
Before departure, you’ll receive all necessary winter clothing and equipment, along with around 30 minutes of instruction on snowmobile handling and safety. Once ready, you’ll head out on a scenic route through forests and across frozen lakes or rivers, depending on conditions.

We strongly recommend booking in advance, especially during the high season, as availability is limited. This tour is organized together with our partner guide who specializes in snowmobiling.
A minimum of 2 paying adults is required for the tour to take place. We reserve the right to cancel if there are fewer than two participants or if the weather conditions are unsafe. If you’re travelling alone, you will need to book for two people.
This activity is offered in very small groups of up to 8 adults and is for adults only. It is mandatory to have a valid driving license (motorbike or category B) and to carry it with you during the excursion.
Although cold-weather clothing are provided, please dress appropriately for the weather conditions with warm layers.
Because of the power and handling characteristics of the snowmobiles, participants weighing more than 120 kg must ride alone on a snowmobile. In this case, booking the solo driving supplement is required, and a valid driving license must be presented. Please let us know before or at the time of booking so that our guides can prepare the excursion safely.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 25% if booking is cancelled 16 days or more before departure;
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 15 days before departure.
