Dip yourself into the frozen lake for an amazing and relaxing experience! If the weather is clear, we can see beautiful stars and may even get to marvel magnificent Northern Lights. This guided step is totally safe with high-quality rescue suit that covers your whole body and keeps you dry. As you have your own clothing under the suit you will not get cold even in the open 0-degree water. Lying down in the ice hole between the ice blocks is something worth trying, the circumstances truly are arctic! After floating you have time to go around the fire place and enjoy a hot drink and biscuits.
Pulahda jääkylmään veteen, rentoudu ja anna ajatustesi vaellella vapaasti mietteestä toiseen. Anna itsesi nauttia hetki täydellisestä hiljaisuudesta ja anna kehosi levähtää pitkän päivän päätteeksi. Ohjattu jääkelluntamme on turvallista ja käytämme siihen tarkoitettuja korkeatasoisia pelastuspukuja, jotka pitävät sinut kuivana ja lämpimänä myös 0-asteisessa vedessä. Puvun alla voit pitää omat vaatteesi, varauduthan siis esimerkiksi lämpimällä kerrastolla. Jos sääolosuhteet ja aurinkotuulet antavat myöten, voimme nauttia kaikesta tästä revontulien loisteen alla.

Please note
Operated in Ylläs during winter season (weather permitting). Minimum number of participants required for each safari is 2 full paying adults. Please note, this program is not suitable for small children, minimum height for floating is 120 cm.
Each traveller is instructed well before stepping into the water. No swimming skills required, as the suit will keep you on the surface.
The Northern Lights are an unpredictable natural phenomenon and our evening safaris are made to give you a chance to observe them, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that they will appear.
Transfers from/to holiday accommodations located in Ylläs area are included within max. 15 km distance from the safari house based in Ylläsjärvi. Winter clothing include thermal overall, winter boots, woollen socks, woollen scarf, beanie and gloves.
Meeting time for our safaris is always before the starting time of the safari. You will receive your meeting time and point upon confirmation. Safari starts when the group is clothed and ready to go. Missed meeting time and point will result on missed safari which will not be refunded.

Kuljetukset majoituksesta kuuluvat aktiviteetin hintaan mikäli majoituksesi sijaitsee 15 km:n säteellä Safartican Ylläksen toimistosta (Hotellintie 6). Lämpimällä varustuksella tarkoitetaan talvihaalaria, saappaita, villasukkia, hanskoja, kaulahuivia ja pipoa.
Tapaamisaika ja -paikka vahvistetaan varauksen vahvistamisen yhteydessä. Kunnioitattehan muita asiakkaita olemalla ajoissa tapaamispaikalla. Myöhästyminen aiheuttaa aktiviteetin menettämisen, jolloin maksua ei palauteta.
