After a 15 minutes transfer to a local husky farm, we will meet the musher and his Arctic dogs at his place. First we learn how to steer the husky sleigh and get on the path of the first explorers with a 10-km husky safari through the magnificent taiga forest and frozen marsh. Two passengers are sharing the sleigh taking turns in driving. After the ride the musher tells about the life of the dogs by an open fire where we enjoy a hot drink and biscuits.

Ystävällinen ja innokas haukunta toivottaa meidät tervetulleiksi koiratilalle ja kun ajo-ohjeistuksen jälkeen pääsemme vauhtiin, vaihtuu haukunta luonnon hiljaisuuteen ja näkymät valloittaviin, lumen peittämiin havumetsiin. Safari ajetaan kaksi henkilöä per valjakko ja ajajaa voi vaihtaa puolivälissä. Safarin jälkeen nautimme kuumaa juotavaa lämpimissä sisätiloissa ennen kuljetusta takaisin Ylläsjärvelle.

PLEASE NOTE
Operated in Ylläs during winter season. (weather permitting). Minimum number of participants required for each safari is 2 full paying adults.
Two persons per husky team, one adult as a driver and one adult as a passenger. Half way adults can change drivers. Children up to 12 years are always seated as passengers in the sleigh. Parents with small children, please consider if your child is able to sit in a sleigh for about 1 hour in winter conditions. Kindly note, there are no shortcuts from the forest back to the farm.
Transfers from/to holiday accommodations located in Ylläs area are included within max. 15 km distance from the safari house based in Ylläsjärvi. Winter clothing include thermal overall, winter boots, woollen socks, woollen scarf, beanie and gloves.
Meeting time for our safaris is always before the starting time of the safari. You will receive your meeting time and point upon confirmation. Safari starts when the group is clothed and ready to go. Missed meeting time and point will result on missed safari which will not be refunded.

Järjestetään Ylläksellä talvikuukausina, mikäli sääolosuhteet sen sallivat ja sille on ilmoittautunut vähintään kaksi aikuista.
Rekiin jakaannutaan pareittain, 2 aikuista/reki. Toinen ohjaa rekeä ja toinen istuu kyydissä. Matkan puolivälissä on mahdollisuus vaihtaa ajajaa. Alle 12-vuotiaat lapset istuvat aina reessä. Pienten lasten kanssa osallistuvien pyydämme huomioimaan, että lapsi on kykenevä matkustamaan n. tunnin ajan reessä talviolosuhteissa. Huomioithan, että reitiltä ei ole oikotietä takaisin lähtöpaikkaan.
Kuljetukset majoituksesta kuuluvat aktiviteetin hintaan mikäli majoituksesi sijaitsee 15 km:n säteellä Safartican Ylläksen toimistosta (Hotellintie 6). Lämpimällä varustuksella tarkoitetaan talvihaalaria, saappaita, villasukkia, hanskoja, kaulahuivia ja pipoa.
Tapaamisaika ja -paikka vahvistetaan varauksen vahvistamisen yhteydessä. Kunnioitattehan muita asiakkaita olemalla ajoissa tapaamispaikalla. Myöhästyminen aiheuttaa aktiviteetin menettämisen, jolloin maksua ei palauteta.
