DESCRIPTION
DAY 1 – WATER SPORT & CULTURE
Welcome to Lapland! On your first day, you will explore the water of Rovaniemi and the local cultures.
The day starts with a Canoe Trip to enjoy Lapland in summertime! This is the best outdoor activity in summer. During the experience, you will enjoy paddling your own canoe on a quiet lake away from Rovaniemi area. This activity allows you to connect with the beautiful arctic nature while enjoying some gentle exercise.
After the paddling time, you will stop and eat a small snack with hot drinks.
The afternoon will be left free ; we recommend to use that free time to visit the Santa Claus Village.
As “night” comes, prepare yourself for a memorable Finnish Legends & Tales evening around the fire! This story-telling experience will offer you an opportunity to learn more about Finnish culture, traditions and local history. While sharing his knowledge, your guide will even cook some pancakes around the open fire!
Depending on your time of arrival, it is possible to postpone the canoe trip to the afternoon instead of morning.
DAY 2 – CULTURAL DAY
On this second day you will discover two experiences that are an integral part of the Finnish culture.
In the morning you will go on a Fatbike Trip to the Reindeer Farm. Reindeer is probably the most iconic animal of Lapland, it has played a significant part in local traditional lifestyle. Meeting those lovely semi-wild animals is always a unique experience for anyone visiting Rovaniemi!
During the ride to the farm you will go through forest and lappish nature for approximately 45 minutes. After that you will arrive at the Reindeer Farm for a very local experience.
This is the best experience to enjoy reindeer farm in a eco-friendly way!
The afternoon will be left free ; we recommend to use that free time to visit the Arktikum Museum near the city centre.
DAY 3 – HIKING IN LAPLAND
Let’s go today for a Full Day Hiking Trip to discover Lapland landscapes. The hike is always adapted to the level of the group with different difficulty options, and is usually around 10 km. The tour lasts 7h. Even without snow, Lapland is worth exploring!
The experience is designed to go through some elusive nature area or reach some viewpoints over the immense subarctic forests. Along the way, your outdoor guide will explain to you about your surroundings, the fauna and flora, footprints in the early snow or in the mud, how to use trees or mushrooms, identify the berries to eat, and some other basics of how to survive in such difficult conditions.
DEPARTURE
All good things come to an end… After this great week, it is time to say goodbye to Lapland! Undoubtedly, the beautiful landscapes, untouched nature, lovely animals and peaceful Nordic lifestyle will give you as many reasons to come back very soon… why not in Winter or Autumn ?

Transportation and most of the activities are in small groups. Participants will be accompanied by a professional guide during the holidays.
A minimum of 2 adult participants is required for the trip to operate. For large groups (more than 8 participants), please contact us and we can discuss a specific package.
Child can take part at this package from 12 years old.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 20% if booking is cancelled 31 days or more before departure;
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 30 days or less before departure.

PAYMENT
Payment by bank transfer and credit card are accepted.
An immediate 30% deposit payment is required to confirm the booking. Payment of the remaining 70% is required at least one month before departure.
