Experience the best of Lapland on a 2-day E-bike trip to a wilderness sauna cabin. Visit a reindeer farm, and relax in a lakeside sauna.

This unique electric bike tour has been designed to offer the best experience of Lapland in summer (and autumn) in only 2 days!

This is the perfect experience if you wish to discover Lapland nature and local life, in a very eco-friendly way while enjoying some outdoor gentle sport.

On the first morning, you will be welcomed by your guide, who will present the itinerary details and your e-fatbikes. You may then try the equipment and get used to the electric bikes.

Once ready, you will start your adventure in the early afternoon for a roughly 50km ride to a long-established reindeer farm. The ride takes you on easy cycling paths and safe roads through forests, and does not require specific mountain biking skills. Moroever, the electric assistance also helps you enjoy a comfortable but still sporty ride. Certainly, our guide will always adapt the ride and the pace to the physical level of the group ; the groups are also kept very small or private to allow for a more intimate and adapted experience.

Meet the most iconic animal of Lapland.

Secondly, reindeer is probably the most iconic animal of Lapland, it has played a significant part in local traditional lifestyle. In fact, meeting those lovely semi-wild animals is always a unique experience for anyone visiting Rovaniemi!
At the reindeer farm, you will also get the chance to feed the reindeers with some of their favourite food directly from your hands. In short, this is a great chance to approach the animals too, as reindeer are still very wild. After the feeding time, herders will take you in a kota, a traditional wooden house, to explain you more about their lifestyle around the fire, and will serve you a homemade local supper prepared by the herder themselves.

A good night lost in the wild!

After the visit of the farm, you will ride to your next destination, a traditional log cabin lost in the middle of the wilderness without running water and electricity : the small lake and nature around provide everything it needs! In conclusion, the place is beautiful and extremely peaceful – perfect for a relaxing evening after a long ride!

Your guide will lit the wood-burner in the sauna and give you more instructions how to use it in the very Finnish way. There is also a pontoon that leads directly to the lake if you are brave enough to go in the water! It is extremely healthy to alternate hot sauna with fresh water.
The cabin will have all what you need to spend a good night lost in the wild! All equipment will be provided, so you do not have to worry about anything but enjoying the moment!

Finally, in the next morning, after a good breakfast, you will jump back on the e-bikes and ride to Rovaniemi with a different route (approx. 60km). A lunch break around the open fire will be prepared halfway by your guide to complete this immersive experience in Finnish nature!
