DESCRIPTION
DAY 1 – ROVANIEMI AND ITS HERITAGE
Welcome to Lapland! On your first day, you will explore the city of Rovaniemi and its world-famous Santa Claus Village.
Depending on your time of arrival, the first morning will be free, so we recommend you visiting the Arktikum Museum in the city-centre. You will learn a lot about local cultures and Rovaniemi’s heritage. This is a perfect introduction to this couple of days!
In the afternon you will travel further into local interests with a cultural electric fatbike tour. You will discover with your guide a few famous attractions in the town but also some less-famous hidden treasures related to cultural, architectural and historical aspects of the city-centre.
The fat tires of your bikes allow you to ride on every kind of terrain! The engine will help you in the most difficult moments and will offer an incredible comfort. This is the perfect way to explore Rovaniemi in summer!
After the visit of the city-center, you will cycle over the river through some forests in the direction of Santa Claus Village. There you may cross the Polar Arctic Circle, meet Santa Claus and discover the official post office where all letters arrive from all around the world.
As “night” comes, prepare yourself for a memorable Finnish Legends & Tales evening around the fire! This story-telling experience will offer you an opportunity to learn more about Finnish culture, traditions and local history. While sharing his knowledge, your guide will even cook some pancakes around the open fire!
DAY 2 – REINDEER & TRADITIONNAL SAUNA
This second morning will be left free to enjoy on your own some of the other museums such as Pilke, Korundi or the Local Heritage Museum.
In the afternoon you will discover two experiences that are an integral part of the Finnish culture. First, you will visit a Traditionnal Reindeer Farm. Reindeer is probably the most iconic animal of Lapland, it has played a significant part in local traditional lifestyle. Meeting those lovely semi-wild animals is always a unique experience for anyone visiting Rovaniemi!
After seeing reindeer it will be time for a relaxing moment and try the sauna experience! A true Finnish experience to end the day in quiet place.
There is nothing more Finnish than a Finnish sauna! Sauna is part of the local culture in many aspects, and therefore a must-do experience when coming to Lapland. Saunas are deeply ingrained in Finnish culture, and no trip to Lapland is complete without experiencing one. The traditional Finnish sauna involves going into a hot, dry room and sweating intensely for a short period of time, before cooling down in cold water. This practice became a hobby for many locals and is to be known as very good for the skin and the immune system.
Enjoy an evening in a traditional wilderness sauna located outside Rovaniemi (transportation included) giving you full privacy. Dig in the freshwater straight from the sauna pontoon and listen to the peaceful sound of nature. You can extend your activity and enjoy SUP paddling under the midnight sun.
DEPARTURE
All good things come to an end… After this great 2 days, it is time to say goodbye to Lapland! Undoubtedly, the beautiful landscapes, untouched nature, lovely animals and peaceful Nordic lifestyle will give you as many reasons to come back very soon… why not in Winter or Autumn ?

Transportation and most of the activities are in small groups. Participants will be accompanied by a professional guide during the holidays.
A minimum of 2 adult participants is required for the trip to operate. For large groups (more than 8 participants), please contact us and we can discuss a specific package.
Child can take part at this package from 12 years old.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 20% if booking is cancelled 31 days or more before departure;
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 30 days or less before departure.

PAYMENT
Payment by bank transfer and credit card are accepted.
An immediate 30% deposit payment is required to confirm the booking. Payment of the remaining 70% is required at least one month before departure.
