Spend a private night camping on a frozen lake in Lapland and discover how an Arctic winter camp is prepared. With guidance from an experienced outdoor guide, help set up the tent, organize the sleeping equipment, and prepare the fire before settling into the winter landscape.
Gather around the campfire for a Finnish barbecue dinner and hot drinks beneath the Arctic sky. All necessary winter camping equipment is provided, including a winter tent, insulated sleeping equipment, warm sleeping bag, pillow, and headlamp. When the sky is clear and aurora activity is sufficient, the remote setting may offer a chance to see the Northern Lights, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.
In the morning, enjoy breakfast at the campsite before helping your guide pack the equipment. This fully private experience offers a practical introduction to Arctic winter camping, combining camp preparation, outdoor cooking, and a complete night in Lapland’s wilderness.

To reduce the environmental impact of unnecessary short-distance vehicle transfers, guests staying less than 750 m from the Nordic Odyssey office are required to meet directly at the office. Pickup is therefore not provided within this area.
Pickup is included within 8 km of Rovaniemi centre.
Pickup outside the standard area may be possible for an additional charge. A location on the route to the activity may sometimes be included at no extra cost.
