If you cancel more than 7 days before the start of your holiday, a 20% cancellation fee applies. For cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the package starts, a 50% cancellation fee applies. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the package starts are non-refundable. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel your holiday.

Snow conditions in Lapland can be unpredictable in October and November. The first snow may melt, and permanent snow cover does not arrive on the same date every year, so deep snow and completely white landscapes cannot be guaranteed. Before departure, your guide checks the latest weather reports and snow conditions to select the best available destination, which may be farther north or at a higher elevation, with up to two hours of transportation each way from Rovaniemi. Snowshoes are used when the snow is deep enough; otherwise, the experience continues as a guided nature hike with the route and equipment adapted to the conditions.

Northern Lights sightings cannot be guaranteed because they depend on solar activity, cloud cover and local weather. Nordic Odyssey team monitor the latest forecasts and, depending on the tour format, select suitable viewing areas away from artificial light to provide favourable observation conditions.
