Do you dream of seeing the Northern Lights dance in the cold and clear sky of the Arctic Winter land? We offer you a 3- to 4-hour guided experience where we drive to the optimal location in an attempt catching the northern lights. With careful planning, local weather and solar activity forecasting, we can increase the chance of catching the Auroras.
We offer 2 – 8 guests a personal experience alongside our guide with hot beverages and biscuits.
What is included
- We will pick you up anywhere in Alta for a tour to the best locations shielded from light pollution as much as possible.
- Biscuit, tea, hot coca and coffee.
- A driver.
What is not included
- Alcohol is not allowed
Please note
- The minimum required number of participants are two persons. If you book for yourself, you can pay for two adult tickets or the tour is cancelled unless more people book the same tour at a later date. If you pay for two adult tickets, you will be refunded the extra ticket if more people join the same tour.
- We start after 20:00 / 08.00 PM for the best chance to catch a glimpse, the chance only increases the closer to midnight we get, however due to unpredictability of our local weather which can change in matter of hours, we may not always be able to offer you a guarantee on your day of booking, low solar activity may also greatly affect the chances to see the Northern Lights. Should we need to postpone or cancel the tour, we will contact you a few hours, or shorter, beforehand to discuss what to do.
- The car will be at the specified pick-up location when the tour is set to starts.
Policy on Rescheduling Tours Due to Weather Conditions
- If adverse weather conditions occur at the time and date of a booked tour, you have the option to either cancel the tour with a full refund or reschedule it to a new date.
- Should you choose to reschedule rather than cancel, and a new date and time are agreed upon between you and the driver, this new arrangement becomes binding. If you does not attend the tour at the rescheduled date and time, the original booking remains valid, and payment for the tour will still be required in full.
