Once a working-class neighbourhood, Kallio is now the bohemian and trendy heart of the city β full of vintage shops, cosy cafΓ©s and a vibrant local culture.
During this private walking tour, I will guide you through its hidden corners and iconic streets while sharing stories about its history, architecture, colourful personalities and unique community spirit.
Along the way, we will also pass one of the oldest public saunas in Finland, see the site where Lenin hid before the Russian Revolution, and visit Hakaniemi Market Hall, one of Helsinkiβs most beautiful and authentic indoor markets. And of course, much more along the way!
