Join Aurora Dreams for a calm and authentic ice fishing experience in the Arctic wilderness around Kiruna.
Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Kiruna and take you to a suitable frozen lake, chosen according to the day’s weather, access, and ice conditions. Once there, we prepare the fishing spot, drill through the ice, and show you how to use the fishing equipment.
This tour is suitable for beginners. You do not need any previous fishing experience. Your guide will explain the basics, help you set up your gear, and give you practical tips while you enjoy the quiet winter landscape.
During the tour, we provide warm drinks and snacks so you can stay comfortable in the cold. The experience is relaxed and personal, with a maximum of 8 guests per tour.
Please note that ice fishing is a nature-based activity. Catching fish is possible, but never guaranteed. The tour always depends on safe ice and suitable weather conditions. If conditions are not safe, we may need to change the location, adjust the activity, or contact you before the tour.
This is a good choice for guests who want a slower Arctic activity, enjoy nature, and want to experience a traditional winter pastime in Swedish Lapland.
