Responsible choice
The Pyhä-Luosto National Park is a great place to learn snowshoeing. An experiences guide will take the participants through a snowy forest and then catch a warm ride to the top of the Lampivaara Fell, where wonderful landscapes surround the amethyst mine. After the interesting mine visit, where you can dig your own amethyst stone, we will snowshoe back to the car.
Please notice that snowshoe walking is around 5 km and total duration of the tour can be even up to 5 hours. Take some small snacks in the pocket if needed.

Winter clothing is not included in this experience. If you need warm clothes and shoes, make sure to add it separately during reservation process. The warm winter clothing and shoes will be given before heading to experience.

Where is the meeting point
The meeting point for this experience is Ukko-Luosto parking lot, Lampivaarantie 3, 99555 Luosto, Lappi, FI.
When you do not need a pickup, meet us at the tour starting time at the meeting point. Be ready we will start the tour in the excursion starting time. Please notice that at the meeting point may not be overalls or shoes, so if you need them contact us in advance with an email. Arrive to the meeting point by the scheduled time of the experience.
