AN ALL-DAY HIKING ADVENTURE JUST FOR YOU
This exclusive fully private hike is tailored to your interests and fitness level. It’s the perfect choice for those seeking an authentic and immersive Lapland adventure.
After a discussion with your experienced guide and our team, you may choose between two main options:
- A longer route (10–15 km) in the Rovaniemi area, offering full immersion in Arctic forests and fells,
- a moderate hike (5–8 km) in another part of Lapland, where you will explore unique natural features such as deep canyons or the rounded summits of Lappish fells (our local “mountains”).
In both cases, the experience is designed to take you into remote, unspoiled natural areas and to reach scenic viewpoints overlooking the vast subarctic forests. To ensure a truly personal, meaningful, and high-end experience, this tour is operated exclusively as a private activity. This makes it easily adaptable to any specific request of your group (please do not hesitate to contact us).
Throughout the journey, your professional guide will share insights about the surrounding environment: local fauna and flora, animal tracks, how to use natural resources such as trees and mushrooms, how to identify edible berries, and essential survival skills for Arctic conditions.
A relaxing break by an open fire is also included, where you will enjoy a traditional Finnish snack with hot drinks. This is a great opportunity to learn how to build a fire in Arctic conditions and to ask your guide any questions about Lapland and its wilderness.

We recommend to book in advance, as availability may be limited in peak seasons.
Family rate: this rate applies to a group of up to 4 participants, including at least one adult and one child (aged 6 to 12 years old). It is offered considering that the excursion is carried out in an SUV-type vehicle (5 seats) rather than a minivan.
This excursion is not recommended for children under 6 years of age. If you wish to join with a child younger than 6, please contact us in advance, as participation is subject to prior approval. For children weighing up to 20 kg, we can provide a hiking backpack carrier.
Please dress appropriately according to the weather, with good hiking shoes, hats/sunglasses or rain/warm clothing.
A certain amount of walking is involved. This tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers, for people with heart conditions or with limited mobility.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 7 days or more before departure;
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled between 7 days and 24h before departure.
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 24h or less before departure.
