• Please dress appropriately for the weather, as conditions in Lapland can change quickly.  In summer, wear comfortable outdoor clothing, sturdy shoes and a light waterproof jacket. In autumn, choose warm layers, a waterproof jacket, sturdy shoes or boots, a hat and gloves.

The entire experience is reserved exclusively for your party, including transportation, guiding and the hike itself. This allows your guide to select a more remote route, adapt the pace and breaks to your preferences and spend more time answering your questions about Lapland. The result is a more personal, flexible and immersive wilderness experience without unrelated customer groups joining your booking.

Yes. The route is selected with your guide according to your interests, fitness and current trail conditions. Possible destinations include Isokuru in Pyhä-Luosto National Park, a spectacular 220-metre-deep gorge surrounded by ancient fells, or Korouoma Canyon, known for its rugged cliffs, waterfalls and varied forest scenery. The final route is selected according to your interests, fitness, season and trail conditions.

The route can be adapted for active families, and the recommended minimum age is four. Children should be comfortable spending the day outdoors and walking over natural, uneven terrain. A hiking backpack carrier may be requested for children weighing up to 20 kg, although participation by children under six requires advance approval. Guests should have good general fitness and walking ability.

The activity location and route are selected according to the weather, snow and ice conditions, accessibility, daylight and safety, as well as the group’s interests, skills, fitness, mobility, previous experience and preferred level of challenge. When needed, the guide discusses the available options with participants before departure to select the most suitable plan. Once the activity begins, the selected activity area normally remains fixed, although the route, distance or pace may be adapted if conditions or the group’s needs change. The guide makes the final decision for safety and practical reasons. The one-way vehicle transfer from Rovaniemi to the activity starting point usually takes approximately 30–90 minutes. Round-trip transportation from Rovaniemi is included. This estimate refers only to the one-way journey by vehicle to the point where the activity begins. It does not include the activity itself.
