Discover the magic of Oulanka National Park on a private winter adventure. Walk along frozen rivers and snowy forests with snowshoes or light crampons, depending on snow conditions.
Highlights include the icy rapids of Myllykoski, Aallokkokoski, and the majestic Jyrävä waterfall. Along the way, your local Finnish guide will share stories of the Arctic nature and lead you to the best viewpoints. After the hike, gather around a campfire to enjoy freshly made pancakes with homemade cloudberry jam and hot drinks – the perfect finish to your winter day.
What is included
- By the campfire we cook nettle pancakes with homemade Kuusamo cloudberry jam. In very cold weather, we’ll cook an alternative snack by the campfire instead.
- Depending on snow conditions: snowshoes or light crampons + poles.
- Pick-up available from Kuusamo or Ruka center
